Job Description WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: In collaboration with the Reservations Supervisor and Rooms Division Manager, allocate room inventory with a special attention paid to group reservations.
Accurately process both FIT and group bookings, including availability requests, confirmations, payment schedules, within the required timeframes.
Establish a strong working relationship with our guests and clients.
Establishing strong relationships and accuracy in addressing guest needs/requirements Monitor and report on market trends to assist the Director of Sales & Marketing and Revenue team.
Produce reports and statistics as requested, including business turnaways and group forecasts.
Assist with the management of payments, cancellations, rooming lists, and terms and conditions.
Qualifications YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE: Desire to learn, develop and innovate in whatever you do.
Strong attention to detail, highly organised, able to multitask and meet deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A passion for guest engagement, combined with a strong sales approach and passion for driving and generating business.
Previous experience in Opera PMS or Opera Cloud preferred. Flexibility to working days/hours to suit business needs, including weekends.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to 'think on your feet'.
Previous experience with Group Reservations highly regarded.
