Purpose
In your role as Roving Assistant Manager, you will embark on an exciting journey taking on the role of an intrepid leader, offering operational support across a range of Accor hotels. You possess an extraordinary ability to create unforgettable guest interactions while fostering a strong sense of camaraderie within each team member you lead.
This role is based in Tasmania with a primary focus on Launceston & Hobart. Your ability to seamlessly transition between multiple hotels offers a generous salary exceeding industry standards. Moreover, when you are working away from your base location, your travel, accommodation, and dining expenses are covered.
Primary Responsibilities
* Take the helm and guide numerous hotel's day-to-day operations with expertise
* Lead & mentor the Front Office Team, nurturing their growth and building their skills within a supportive environment
* Collaborate with guests, extending a helping hand to find solutions for any challenges that may arise
* Contribute to roster planning and preparation
* Embrace authenticity and let your unique self-shine in every shift
Skills and Experience
* Demonstrated expertise in Hotel Operations, marked by a vibrant track record of assuming leadership roles as a Team Leader, Supervisor, or Manager
* Knowledge of Sihot PMS is advantageous
* Ability to multitask and thrive under pressure, fuelled by epic organisational and time management skills
* Masterful in the art of both the written and spoken communication
* Capable of embracing a flexible rotating schedule, including multiple locations, nights, weekends, and public holidays
