We are looking for a Copywriter with a natural flair for words, a strong grasp of storytelling for audio, and excellent organisational skills.
This role is perfect for a creative thinker who can craft compelling scripts for audio ads, incorporating voice, sound effects (SFX), and music to create engaging brand stories.
We also require someone with experience on pitch-winning teams.
Someone who knows how to craft creative ideation and compelling solutions for clients, with strong and clever copy at the centre.
Reporting to the Creative Strategy Lead, you'll collaborate with our Australian-based copywriters and the broader team to produce polished, impactful work.
We operate in a hybrid work environment, blending office and work-from-home days for the best of both worlds.
Responsibilities:Understanding and responding to creative briefs to develop engaging and effective copy.Writing, proofing, and editing short and long-form copy across multiple formats, with a primary focus on audio scripts for digital ads.Incorporating sound effects, music cues, and voice direction into scripts to enhance storytelling and audience engagement.Ensuring copy aligns with client tone of voice and brand guidelines.Work closely with the broader copywriting and strategy teams to translate briefs into compelling ideas; writing and presenting thought-starters for pitches.Researching industry trends, competitors, and best practices to inform creative work.Bringing a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Requirements:4-5 years of experience as a copywriter, ideally with experience writing scripts for audio ads.A portfolio showcasing strong copywriting skills, including audio-focused work with an understanding of sound design elements.Experience in a copywriting and/or creative team, working on pre-sale ideation and pitches.Excellent writing, editing, and conceptual thinking skills.An ability to bring brand messaging to life in a compelling and engaging way.Strong time-management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects at once.If you're passionate about storytelling and excited by the challenge of crafting audio ads that cut through the noise, we'd love to hear from you!
