Assisting the Site and Technical managers with the day-to-day running of the toolroom department by ensuring all efforts are made to ensure continuity of production by completing tool servicing, repairs and manufacture of tool parts before and after production runs in a timely manner that ensures tools are in a ‘ready to run state’ to align with production schedules. That tools, ancillary tool parts and head tooling are maintained in good condition utilising internal and external toolmaker resources
Assist the technical and engineering teams in maintaining machine parts inventory where required .
All tool-sets and tooling parts to be correctly and safely stored and labelled.
Ensure the tooling assistant is competently reviewing and cleaning tool sets and following instructions from the Tooling Supervisor

As Supply and Demand Planner, you will perform a pivotal role as the conduit between supply planning and manufacturing scheduling.
This includes forecasting, demand & supply planning as well as the S&OP process to unlock capacity and maximise plant performance.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
* Machining
* Perform lathe operations
* Perform milling operations
* Perform grinding operations
* Perform Fabrication operations including welding when required
* Perform complex grinding operations
* Operates machines to make parts and tools
* Uses a range of machinery operations including semi-automatic and automatic processes as well as hand tools to shape materials
* Apply mathematical techniques in a manufacturing engineering or related environment
