Little Italy Coffee Roasters – Frenchs Forest NSWAt Little Italy Coffee Roasters, we believe coffee is more than a beverage – it's an experience that brings people together and creates lasting memories.Since 2012, we've built a reputation based on integrity, quality, and customer service.By sourcing premium beans from around the globe, we create unique blends that appeal to those who cherish the ritual of coffee.As we continue to grow, we're seeking a dedicated Human Resources & Payroll Advisor to support our team and ensure our workplace remains positive, compliant, and well-organised.About the Role: This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional with payroll experience who thrives in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.In this flexible, part-time role, you'll play an integral role in managing HR functions, handling payroll, and supporting our growth and employee engagement efforts.Working closely with the Senior Management Team, including the CEO, you will help to continue shape and sustain our culture and operational effectiveness.The role offers scope to take on additional responsibilities and, over time, expand into a full-time position.Key Responsibilities: Employee Relations & EngagementAct as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, offering guidance on HR policies, conflict resolution, and workplace concerns.Foster a positive work environment, supporting engagement initiatives to maintain a motivated and cohesive workforce.Payroll & HR AdministrationManage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payments.Maintain employee records, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.Policy, Compliance & Performance ManagementEnsure HR policies and practices are up-to-date, compliant, and effectively communicated to staff.Assist in the implementation of performance appraisal processes and support managers with performance-related matters.HR Data & ReportingMaintain HR databases and generate reports on key metrics to support strategic planning.Provide insights and recommendations based on data to help improve our workforce and organisational effectiveness.Recruitment & OnboardingCollaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, coordinate recruitment efforts, and conduct onboarding for new team members.Assist in developing job descriptions and managing the hiring process to attract top talent.Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR, with payroll processing experience preferred.Strong knowledge of HR principles, particularly in employee relations, compliance and recruitment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a high level of discretion and integrity.Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Why Join Little Italy Coffee Roasters?
