The Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) in Scotland Partnership ('the partnership') supports safeguarding.
MGS is looking for a Project Officer who will coordinate the activity of the project partners.
Museums Galleries Scotland (MGS) is the National Development Body for Scotland's museums and galleries sector – this includes 440 museums and galleries of all sizes and organisational types.

The Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) in Scotland Partnership supports safeguarding measures for ICH in Scotland.
The partnership consists of Creative Scotland, Historic Environment Scotland (HES), Museums Galleries Scotland (MGS), and Traditional Arts & Culture Scotland (TRACS).
MGS and TRACS are both accredited Non-Governmental Organisation advisors to UNESCO on ICH.
MGS is looking for a Project Officer who will coordinate the activity of the project partners, and support the development of lasting supportive relationships between communities of practice, and host heritage or cultural organisations.
They will also help to identify and develop legacy materials from the project, to build a resource bank for the continued safeguarding of ICH in Scotland.

Working Hours: 35 hours per week (28 hours (0.8FTE) will be considered)Contract: Fixed term for 24 monthsSalary: Starting salary £29,211 per annum (£23,368 pro rata for 0.8FTE)
