We are currently recruiting for an experienced Educational Leader for our YMCA Sandgate Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Service. This is a permanent part time position.
About the service
YMCA Sandgate Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) is located between Lagoon and Keogh Street situated on the land of the Turrbal people.
Formally known as Cabbage Patch Creek the stretch and wide expanse of water provides for beautiful views of the Sandgate Lagoon, known as the Warra land by our first nations people, contains natural wildlife such as turtles and a variety of birdlife.
Our Sandgate community are both from a multi-cultural and linguistically diverse community who pride themselves in acceptance of all. We are licensed for 120 children and offer ‘Before and After School Care’ and ‘Vacation Care’ between the hours of 6.30am – 6.00pm Monday to Friday for 50 weeks of the year minus public holidays.
We provide our children with a healthy breakfast to start their day and a menu that reflects our families and children to carry them throughout the day.
We are located on what use to be Sandgate Primary School old Prep area which has been transformed into OSHC - surrounded by large trees overlooking the beautiful wildlife lagoon.
