How You'll Shine
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and completing the day-to-day operation of the Maintenance department. You will be required to maintain a high standard with all areas of unit repairs, external property, and resort common area maintenance in line with Body Corporate budgets and requirements as outlined in the caretaker agreement.
In addition, you will be required to maintain up-to-date records of all repairs, maintenance contracts, inventories, fire safety records, and associated department-related paperwork.
What You'll Bring
This is a hands-on management position and therefore you will be able to demonstrate the following:
Previous experience in a management or supervisor role is essential
Demonstrated high level of competence and technical experience in general resort property and grounds maintenance and repairs (including electrical, plumbing installations, building, and pool maintenance)
Experience in Strata property management properties, holiday letting pools, and caretaking agreements will be highly regarded
Experience with Hotel/Resort refurbishment highly regarded
Current First Aid certificate and comprehensive understanding of basic Occupational Health & Safety principles and chemical handling
Results-oriented, with strong time management and organizational skills and the ability to multitask and use initiative
Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with experience in Strata ownership operations
Ability to work a flexible roster, including weekends and school and public holiday periods
Ability to maintain accurate filing of all maintenance and service records and preparation of monthly reports
Trade qualification desirable
Current driver's license
