Our Pilgangoora Project is one of the largest, hard-rock lithium operations in the world.THE OPPORTUNITY: Our Health & Safety department is continuing its expansion at our Pilgangoora Lithium operation, and we now have additional opportunities for a motivated Critical Risk Management Advisor to join our great team.This position is accountable for ensuring the safety and health of employees through the delivery of professional safety services, promotion and implementation of the Site Safety Management System (SMS) and the delivery in a timely and professional manner in regard to health and safety related matters.This is a 12-Month Fixed Term Full-Time position, on a FIFO 8:6 roster from Perth, WA.Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Critical Risk Management, ongoing development and coaching of users' knowledge around critical risk and critical controls.Develop investigation quality through facilitating various investigations on site, providing guidance and support to investigation facilitators and investigation leads. Provide specialist health and safety advice and support to the Operations Manager, Department Managers, and other staff to assist with risk management and decision-making activities.Proactively utilise the Health and Safety Management Systems.Apply Health and Safety practices and initiatives on site that lead to achieving Health and Safety objectives and targets.Undertake tasks as set out in the Health and Safety Activity Schedule.Prepare data and report on safety performance for daily and weekly meetings and reports.Present relevant safety training packages for use across the site.Implement the Audit and Compliance Program that supports the site in health and safety best practices and legislative requirements.Support the business to effectively and consistently apply and review risk management processes.ABOUT YOU: Certificate IV Workplace Health & SafetyUnderstanding of Safety Management Systems and Risk Management PrinciplesAdvanced PC skills and computer literacy (i.e., Microsoft applications mainly Excel/Word)Safety Data Interpretation & AnalysisTechnical WritingWHAT WE OFFER: Great people and culture are at the heart of our great Australian Company.
