About the role:
The Relationship Associate, Commercial, will be responsible for ongoing management of the Commercial Relationship Director’s client base. This role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth or Adelaide.
Key accountabilities for this role include:
• Take ownership and actively manage commercial loan applications end to end, including workflow management through the credit approval, documentation, and settlement process.
• Work with autonomy, demonstrating the ability to problem solve and achieve the best outcomes for clients
• Demonstrate excellent attention to detail, while handling many applications at one time
• Engage withinternal/ external stakeholders at key milestones for loan applications (ie – RD’s, clients, solicitors)
• Follow business policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and internal requirements
• Ensure data quality on Salesforce / Q2 / LMG Commercial 3rd Party for commercial applications
• Oversee Post Settlement requests for Loan Maintenance, Variations, Arrears of Commercial Loans
• Contribute to answering client enquiries received via the 1300 number
• Attend ongoing Commercial Product and Process Training
• Demonstrate being a Proactive Learner, including continuing to grow Knowledge of Commercial Medical Lending
• Ensure consistent and effective relationships with Relationship Directors, Clients, Team Leader and other internal and external stakeholders
To be successful you will have:
• Relevant work experience, ideally in sales or processing roles within broking businesses, banks or other financial services companies
• Ability to deliver to tight deadlines and high expectations in a fast paced environment
• Place the client at the centre of everything you do.
• Always operate in an ethical, responsible way
• Embrace the entrepreneurial spirit that forms the foundation of our business.
• You are willing to roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes for you and your team to deliver to our customers
• Strong client relationship skills coupled with a strong client service ethic and prior maintenance of an existing book
• Prior knowledge of the banking or broking industry, the Australian residential and commercial lending market and the regulatory environment
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of financial analysis, credit writing skills and approval standards
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong organisational skills and effective time management
