The role aims to ensure the wellbeing of employees and works collaboratively with operations to review risk assessments, lead incident investigations and maintaining information to support our regulatory compliance framework.The Ideal Candidate: This role requires a pragmatic individual with the ability to effectively manage time between projects and ongoing demands, a strong focus in employee engagement through focussed solutions and a keen eye for continuous improvement. Responsibilities and Duties: Reporting to the Head of Safety, Environment and Governance you will be responsible for:Ensuring risk assessments are completed and implemented for site operational activities.Management and update of the site's risk register and respective controls.Providing expert advice and implementation support for the Chain of Responsibility risk mitigation and reduction.Supporting the Managers, Supervisors, and employees in the implementation of the Group's HSEQ Management System and maintaining the ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 accreditations.Leading and assist sites in the timely completion of incident investigations and corrective actions.Maintain the schedule and report on the regions Audits, Inspections, and compliance assessments.Monitoring and co-ordinating the appropriate training and improvement programs.Injury, rehabilitation, and claims management.Monitoring the implementation of HSEQ practices across the construction project activities onsite.Leading cultural improvements by partnering and collaboratively engaging with Operational Leaders and personnel. Qualifications and Education Ideally you will have a Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety and Class C Driver's License.You must have good communication, interpersonal and reporting skills and a minimum of intermediate competence with the Microsoft Officer suite of products and SharePoint. A Certificate in Training would be a plus.Skills and Attributes Passion for streamlining compliance and systems that are fit for purpose.
