The main responsibilities and tasks of this role include:Assisting with the organisation and maintenance of library resources, including books, periodicals, and digital materials.Supporting students and staff in accessing and utilising library resources effectively.Managing library circulation activities, including issuing and returning materials, as well as maintaining accurate records.Assisting in cataloguing new acquisitions and maintaining the library classification system.Collaborating with teaching staff to support curriculum-related resource requirements.Contributing to the promotion of reading culture and literacy initiatives within the college community.The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for fostering a love of reading and learning. A friendly and approachable demeanour, along with excellent communication skills, will be essential for engaging with students and staff effectively.
