Assistants and Professional Services Personal Assistants and Secretaries who are looking to build a long-lasting and rewarding career within legal support.Our Legal Assistants are an integral part of our firm, assisting in the smooth running of our practice groups and ensuring our lawyers perform at the highest level.As a Legal Assistant you will work full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.Key responsibilities:As a Legal Assistant in our legal support team, your day could involve:Planning for and delivering high quality, accurate work whilst managing deadlines and competing priorities.Managing the billing process for your direct team including clients with specific billing requirements.Organising national and international travel.Assisting partners and lawyers with client and cost reporting requirements.Managing Partners internal and external appointments with appropriate meeting lead times including travel and diary management.Assisting with meeting preparation and the coordination of post meeting actions.Skills & experience:We are seeking expressions of interest from candidates who demonstrate:A minimum of 18-months experience as a legal secretary or professional services secretary.Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Teams).Impeccable attention to detail.Experience in using legal billing system and client management program (Aderant desirable).Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to think ahead.Ability to multi-task and prioritise competing demands from multiple stakeholders.Good written and verbal
