Concrete Tester / Relief Batcher
An opportunity has now become available for an enthusiastic person to fill the role of Concrete Tester based in Karratha, WA. Reporting to the Plant Manager, the successful candidate will be self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, physically fit and possess a strong work ethic. You will have impeccable customer focus and be highly motivated, risk aware, and safety driven. This is a full-time role, commencing February/March 2025. Your working days will be Monday to Friday with overtime and Saturday/Sunday work according to business needs. Experience is preferred; however, training and/or HR licensing may be considered for suitable candidates. This is a residential role with rental assistance or accommodation provided. Please note, this is not a FIFO role.

About The Role
1. Perform concrete field testing within the Karratha area.
2. On occasion - batching concrete into Agitators.
3. Carry out equipment calibrations.
4. Sampling, record keeping, and testing in accordance with quality assurance standards.
5. Yard duties when required.
6. Occasionally driving agitators delivering concrete (HR licence required).
7. Travelling between sites required, work vehicle provided for this.
Background And Experience Required
1. Have a passion for delivering remarkable customer service and providing great results.
2. HR licence would be highly regarded.
3. Are a team player who can multi-task and make quick effective decisions under pressure.
4. Previous experience in CMT would be advantageous, but not essential.
5. Qualifications in Laboratory Techniques preferred, but not essential.
6. Excellent Health and Safety behaviours.
7. Strong literacy and numeracy skills (written & verbal).
8. Physically fit.
9. A current Western Australian manual driver’s licence.
10. Testing experience or a willingness to learn.
What We Offer
1. $650/700 housing allowance per week or company supplied housing.
2. North-West allowance - $7ph.
3. Meal allowance non-taxed $150pw.
4. Front-end loader ticket.
5. Hourly rate of $35.74 + penalties.
