Salary: $37.35 - $40.04 per hour plus 25% casual loading

Your role with us:
Support the delivery of services in the welfare and homeless sector. You will need to understand and respond to clients’ needs, in order to deliver and adapt services to support client outcomes. To be successful you will need to use your knowledge of the services offered to people that are homeless or disenfranchised in the welfare sector including the impact of environmental factors affecting homeless and emergency relief.
An excellent opportunity for a dynamic and passionate support worker to join our South West team and assist in the delivery of local programs and services including our Drop In Centre and Emergency Relief program that support local clients and families in need.
How will you make your mark:
* Your experience in the community services field relevant to the role, particularly in relation to homelessness and mental health.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with both clients and volunteers.
* Well-developed time management skills.
* Ability to work in a team environment and to offer leadership and encouragement to volunteers.
* A commitment to social justice principles and supporting people from all backgrounds.
* A commitment to supporting the health, safety and wellbeing of program participants and staff.
Remuneration and benefits:
* SCHADS award level 3 which is $37.35 plus 25% casual loading.
