Your primary duties will include but are not limited to the following:Fulltime position – different lifestyle rosters to suit and can be discussed with successful candidate.General maintenance, service and repairs to fleet vehicles, trailers, plant, and equipment.Advanced skills in mechanical and electrical problem solving, diagnostics & breakdowns highly regarded.Preventative / Servicing and Breakdown maintenance.Diagnostics testing and servicing diesel engine vehicles.Identifying and rectifying faults during inspections.Initiate updates to work procedures to ensure they are accurate and relevant to equipment.Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and assist in the implementing of the new initiatives in a constructive way.Demonstrate a focus on safety, achievement, and team engagement in all aspects of work.Minimum RequirementsThe successful applicant will:Be a Qualified and Experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Fitter/Mechanic.Have the ability to work in a team environment and at times unsupervised.Ability to work autonomously.Not be scared of working overtime.A commitment to safety, quality and attention to detail and procedure.The ability to work to deadlines and remain calm under pressure.A strong desire to learn and a high level of enthusiasm to develop a range of new skills.A teamwork mentality to achieve results.Immediate start available, remuneration will be based on your skill set.We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic, and driven people who are committed to providing quality service to actively contribute to your personal growth and the growth of DDR.What We Offer:The opportunity to work with a market leader committed to the success and growth of its employees.
