Role Overview: As the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operations of our venues including The Charles Bar, The Eatery, Nautilus Pool Bar, Settimo Restaurant Bar and our extensive Catering and Event Spaces. You will be a forward thinker, promoting and activating our venues with innovation, engagement and leadership whilst striving to ensure guest satisfaction. You will have strong operational knowledge and the ability to share your knowledge with our associates to ensure they are empowered and knowledgeable in all things to be the best they can be. Key Responsibilities: Implements agreed upon policy and procedures throughout the property Manages in compliance with all local, state and Federal beverage and liquor laws Understands Food & Beverage control including labour costs, beverage costs and reporting Comprehends budgets, operating statements and payroll reports as needed to assist in the financial management of department Empowers associates to provide excellent guest service and emphasises guest satisfaction and focuses on continuous improvement Maintains food handling and sanitation standards Maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment Ensure prompt resolution of any guest complaints, reporting any issues and recommending solutions Training focus to ensure a high standard of service delivery About You: Demonstrated experience in an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager position or a similar role. Demonstrated experience in people management. In-depth knowledge of Beverage trends and best practices in the Hospitality industry. Excellent communication abilities. Skill in developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams. Outstanding attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities. Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a dynamic team environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive mindset toward operational challenges.
