About the role
An opportunity exists for a Personal Care Worker who is dedicated to providing the best care to our much-loved residents at our Barcoo Aged Care Service in Blackall. Being team oriented, with a willingness to complete mandatory and other training that is related to the position.
Our facility has a small dedicated team with a mixture of ages and experience. Consumer centered care is a focus providing our residents with the opportunity to be safe, cared for and to enjoy a range of activities and social interactions.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have a compassionate nature and love being around and caring for our seniors. You will enjoy taking time to build relationships with our residents and in getting to know them in order to provide the best possible care. You are a positive individual who works well with others and are happy to support your fellow team members.
Your experience and qualifications for this role ideally should include:
1. Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Individual Support (Qualified Applicants);
2. Completion of HLTHPS006 - Assist clients with medication;
3. Demonstrated solid experience in Aged Care;
4. Willingness to work a variety of shifts, across a 7-day week;
5. Current National Police Certificate or the ability to obtain.

Our Benefits

The Salary range for this position is currently $31.34 to $32.40 per hour. Hourly rate is based on experience.
