A Permanent Opportunity for a Windows System Administrator is available with our company.
Australian Citizenship is required, and the ability to attain federal security clearance is mandatory.
This role follows a hybrid work model, offering flexibility between working from home and on-site presence at the office or client locations as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess and maintain the stability, security, and scalability of Windows systems.
* Install, configure, and upgrade Windows-based systems and servers.
* Troubleshoot system and server errors, analyzing logs and user-reported issues.
* Provide technical support to internal staff and system users.
* Monitor and manage system performance to ensure high availability.
* Manage user access and permissions across the network.
* Perform patch management and system updates.
* Implement and maintain security best practices to protect system integrity.
* Assist in Active Directory administration and Windows server environment configurations.
* Create and manage PowerShell scripts to automate tasks.
* Manage System Centre Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM) operations.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
* MUST BE AN AUSTRALIAN CITIZEN and able to attain federal security clearance.
* Working experience with Hyper V is required.
* At least 3 years of experience in Windows systems administration, preferably in a corporate or enterprise environment.
* Proficiency in Hyper-V for virtualized environments.
* Strong understanding of Windows Server administration and configurations.
* Experience with Active Directory management.
* Familiarity with database management and patching processes.
* Working knowledge of modern operating systems and server platforms.
* Ability to troubleshoot and optimize system performance effectively.
* Experience with PowerShell scripting and SCVMM.
