About the Role:
As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for developing and managing detailed maintenance schedules, ensuring that all work is planned, resourced, and executed effectively. Your key focus will be optimising the reliability and performance of assets while minimising downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
o Develop and manage detailed maintenance plans and schedules to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency
o Collaborate with maintenance teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to prioritize and plan tasks effectively
o Identify and assess potential risks and issues within the maintenance planning process
o Track and report on maintenance performance, including cost, time, and resource efficiency
o Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety and environmental standards
o Maintain accurate documentation of work orders, asset history, and maintenance records
o Continuously evaluate and improve maintenance strategies to enhance productivity
To be successful, you’ll need:
o A minimum of 3 years' experience in a maintenance planning role, ideally within the resources or industrial sector
o Relevant Australian-recognised qualifications (trade or tertiary)
o Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
o Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams
o Proven experience using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
o A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
o High attention to detail and a commitment to safety
