Grants Surge Work - Multiple Positions Available | 3-6 Month Contracts | Active Minimum Baseline Clearance Essential | Hourly rates ranging from $45 - $54 per hour plus 11% superannuation dependent on position and experience.
OVERVIEW
We are currently seeking highly engaged and experienced Grants Officers, Quality Officers, and Team Leaders to form part of our upcoming and future Grants Funding Surge Workforce. These opportunities will be available within 1-3 months for an initial 3–6-month engagement and will play an integral part in delivering grants to Australian businesses, organizations, and individuals.
GRANTS OFFICER RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Undertake Grant Application Assessments
• Prepare Grant Agreements and Grant Variations
• Review Grant Recipient Reports.
• Liaise with Stakeholders (customers and Department staff) as required.
QUALITY OFFICER RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Carry out quality control activities, such as reviewing the work of Grant Officers, to ensure the services are being performed efficiently and in accordance with the Project Management Plan, as well as Department instructions and procedures.
* Liaises with stakeholders (customers and the Department staff) as required.
TEAM LEADER RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Manages team members and is responsible for the day-to-day operations required to complete the grants application surge.
* Liaises with the department in all the monitoring and performance related discussions, including learning and development.
EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS
GRANTS OFFICER
• Previous experience in grants is highly desirable
• Able to work to tight timeframes.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Providing sound advice to support decision making.
• Working well as part of a team. Adaptable and able to rapidly understand and apply new information within the framework of operational policies and procedures.
• Committed to quality and achieving outcomes.
QUALITY OFFICER:
* Previous experience in grants is highly desirable.
* Experience in quality assurance or a related field is essential.
* Familiarity with the entire grant application process is highly desirable.
* Able to work to tight timeframes.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Providing sound advice to support decision making.
* Working well as part of a team. Adaptable and able to rapidly understand and apply new information within the framework of operational policies and procedures.
* Committed to quality and achieving outcomes.
TEAM LEADER:
* Proven experience in a leadership role within a grants team or relevant field.
* In-depth knowledge of grant application process and grant management best practices.
* Excellent organizational skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to interpret and resolve complex issues.
