Food & Beverage Supervisor - Events (6month fixed term contract - commencing 23 April 2025)
Join our Events Department as a Food and Beverage Supervisor and be part of Hamilton Island’s vibrant team!
The Role
As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you'll support the Events Team, coordinating equipment setup, responding to guest inquiries, and ensuring our team delivers top-notch service.
Your leadership, training, and hands-on approach will help streamline processes and maintain high service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Address guest requests and complaints efficiently to ensure satisfaction.
* Prioritize health and safety, including managing dietary requirements.
* Train, mentor, and support team members to consistently meet service standards.
* Assist in identifying staff development needs and implement training.
* Perform opening and closing duties, including cashiering.
* Communicate regularly with the management team.
About You
You’re an experienced Events professional with a positive attitude and a passion for leading and developing your team.
You have:
* Minimum 2 years of Food & Beverage/Events experience.
* Expertise in banqueting, conferences, and events.
* Supervisory experience in banqueting (desirable).
* Strong beverage, wine, and cocktail knowledge.
* Leadership skills with a focus on training and mentoring.
* Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
* Current RSA certification and driver’s license.
* Basic computer skills and impeccable presentation.
