Job Description
As an Assistant Restaurant Manager at our prestigious hotel, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Bistro. Your exceptional leadership skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage a team will be crucial in delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide efficient, friendly, and professional service and communication to all guests and team members.
* Take accountability and effectively manage the restaurant in conjunction with the Restaurant Manager.
* Assist in developing special promotional and merchandising plans to increase revenue.
* Prepare weekly rosters and monitor labour costs to remain within budget.
* Coach and provide feedback to managers and staff, assessing performance on an ongoing basis.
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years supervisory or assistant manager experience in a similar hospitality environment or role with assistant manager qualifications desirable.
* Australian Full Working Rights.
* Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to adapt approach to make clients feel welcome.
* Passion for hospitality and desire to develop career within the industry.
* Lead by example, prioritizing team development and training.
