PROJECT MANAGER
Our client is a well-established construction company specializing in disaster recovery, insurance repairs, and rebuilding projects across Australia. They play a vital role in restoring homes and communities affected by natural disasters, ensuring high-quality and efficient project delivery.
They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team in Gold Coast. If you have residential insurance construction experience, strong project management skills, and a QBCC license, this is a fantastic opportunity to lead impactful projects with a supportive team.
Responsibilities
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of residential insurance and disaster recovery projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
1. Managing subcontractors to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
2. Overseeing budgets and ensuring cost control across multiple projects.
3. Liaising with stakeholders including clients, insurance providers, and internal teams.
4. Ensuring compliance with all relevant Health & Safety regulations and industry standards.
5. Coordinating with different departments to streamline project workflows.
About You:
1. At least 3 years’ experience in Project Management within residential insurance construction or in construction.
2. Trade background (carpentry preferred) highly regarded.
3. Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and construction terminology.
4. QBCC Licence.
5. Must be computer literate, with the ability to use project management software and general IT proficiency.
6. Excellent communication skills, able to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
7. Must be located in Gold Coast area.
