Telstra Retail : Assistant Store Manager MUSWELLBROOK
Job Summary
To support the Store Manager with executing the store strategy, leading and developing a team of Customer Advisors to drive sales and high standards of customer service using the prescribed customer sales model.
You will be a member of the team with excellent skills in operational governance. You will collaborate with the Store Manager to create a high performing team, by coaching and empowering others to fulfil operational requirements and achieve their performance targets.
What you’ll do
* Oversee the induction of your new team members
* Coach the store’s team to meet (and exceed) store targets
* Help support your team with customer query escalations
* Be the Store Manager’s right-hand person, stepping up to act as Store Manager when needed
* Executing business initiatives in store to meet financial and customer key metrics.
* Act as team cheerleader – leading from the front and helping to motivate the team, and foster an awesome store culture
* Organise the store floor and team’s work schedules, to meet customer demand.
About you
* You have previous experience in a retail leadership / assistant management role
* You’re able to energise and drive a retail team to exceed sales targets and KPIs with demonstrated success
* You lead from the front and are able to influence and build rapport with a diverse and varied team
* You’re able to resolve customer issues creatively
* You’re an excellent communicator who can help support the Store Manager in taking team members through change.
