The role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Property Portfolio Manager to join our team. Reporting to Indirect Procurement Country Manager, the Property Portfolio Manager will be responsible for providing expertise in strategic and operational property portfolio management for Sandvik entities in the Australian and New Zealand Sales Area. This includes executing the property portfolio master plan with a focus on optimizing and improving the efficiency and utilization of Sandvik's overall property footprint.
Areas of responsibility
1. The role is responsible for extensive senior stakeholder engagement and is required to support, guide, and negotiate proactive operational improvements and outcomes across the Region, including the involvement of other Sandvik entities.
2. Manage the property asset portfolio, including optimization of site utilization across the region.
3. Coordinate real estate projects, ensuring design specification and budget compliance.
4. Contribute towards achieving environmental and sustainability targets while adhering to property portfolio regulations.
5. Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver optimized business outcomes.
6. Identify cost savings related to type of ownership (reduce leasing cost) and operational or facility infrastructure costs, including improved site utilisation.
7. Manage property income and expenditure, aligning budgets with maintenance and repair plans.
Your profile
8. 10 years of real estate experience, including commercial business management.
9. Demonstrated experience in real estate coordination, preferably in a multi-site company.
10. Solid experience in budget management, transactions, and facility management cost reduction.
11. Experienced in commercial property leasing, development, and construction project management.
12. Proficient in time management, planning, organizational skills, property research, data analysis, and reporting.
13. Tertiary qualification in Business/Real Estate is advantageous.
