About The Role
This position involves:
1. Assisting teachers and students with sporting activities and excursions.
2. Managing and stock taking of equipment and resources.
3. Communicating effectively and displaying high level interpersonal skills.
4. Maintaining student records for use in reviewing development.
5. Displaying respect and empathy for students with high needs.
6. Handling confidential information with tact and sensitivity.
7. Compiling and supervising class rolls.
8. Clerical assistance duties including typing notes and work programs.
9. Assisting in supervision of education activities under teacher direction.
10. Preparing and storing teaching equipment and materials.
11. Assisting with playground and bus supervision.
12. Collecting money from students for various school activities.
13. Contributing to the welfare, health and safety of students including first aid delivery.
14. Assisting students with special needs, including positioning and personal care.
