As a pivotal member of the leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of clinical care within the organisation.
Your leadership will drive the highest standards of clinical governance, compliance, and continuous quality improvement, ensuring that every aspect of care is both safe and participant-centred.
Unique to this role, you'll also take on the responsibility of overseeing the disability and primary care needs of participants, with the opportunity to engage in hands-on patient consultations for one to two days each week, ensuring a direct and personal impact on their care journey.
For the rest of the week, you will manage a small nurse team and oversee clinical governance.
You'll be the clinical leader who sets the tone for excellence, driving innovation, improving patient experiences, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, holistic care to those who need it most.
We're looking for a dynamic leader with a proven ability to partner with care teams to achieve outstanding outcomes across clinical, commercial, and participant experiences.
You'll bring strong clinical leadership and governance expertise, with a keen eye for data analytics and reporting that drives informed decision-making.
Your ability to craft clear policies, design effective processes, and implement impactful plans will be key.
With a sharp business acumen and a deep understanding of clinical and operational success factors, you'll guide the team to deliver the optimal clinical care model.
Familiarity with NDIS guidelines, quality standards, and patient safety protocols will allow you to lead with confidence.
As a coach, you'll navigate teams through change while ensuring a seamless adaptation to new policies and processes.
Your interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills will set you apart, and your experience preparing compelling clinical tender responses and presentation pitches will help position the organization as a trusted leader in the field.
To be successful in this role you will need: Minimum of 7 years experience as a General PractitionerAt least 3 years in a senior health administration role, such as a Director of Medical Services, Clinical Director, or Chief Medical OfficerExperience managing geographically dispersed clinical teams across the Sydney areaExperience in the disability and/or aged care sector (highly desirable)Qualifications: Fellow of the Royal Australian Colleague of General Practice (FRACGP) and/orFellow of Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) and/orBeneficial but not essential: a Fellow of The Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (RACMA)On offer will be a competitive package plus equity with the opportunity to make a difference in the sector.
