About The RoleAn exciting opportunity exists within the Logistics and Operations Support Division for an enthusiastic Project Administrator to be a part of Supply Chain and Logistics and work alongside in a dynamic and highly motivated Warehouse Operations environment.The VPS3 Project Administrator will provide administrative assistance to key areas such as the Conducted Energy Device (CED) Program which is responsible for equipping frontline police and Protective Service Officers (PSOs) with CEDs through a state-wide deployment and support the Warehouse and Distribution Unit (W&DU) who is responsible for the storage, distribution and disposal of uniform, equipment, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and serialised forms for Police, Protective Service Officers, Police Custody Officers, and Recruits across the state.As the successful applicant you will have experience working in a busy warehouse and distribution environment. You will have outstanding customer service skills and enjoy working in a diverse multi-functional team. The role also requires a customer centric, collaborative, and innovative approach to working with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.Victoria Police is a contemporary and agile workplace and supports flexible working arrangements.Your Duties Will Include Coordinate with stations, collections of CED cartridges The recycle program and any items that may be reissued. Assist in conducting workplace audits, reconciliations, and compliance relevant to the operation of the warehouses. Undertake a range of administrative tasks as required including (but not limited to): equipment data analysis, updating of corporate databases, the processing of customer administrative requirements and distribution, managing pick slips and order quantities to control numbers Management recruit entitlements and CED cartridges. This includes the receipting and storage of the devices and pick and packing all orders. Management of the warehouse inventory items including raising purchase orders and cycle counting. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to provide customer service advice. Ensure process and procedures are compliant with relevant legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures As The Successful Applicant, You Will Have Demonstrated experience with safe manual handling practices and high level of understanding of Health and Safety principals for a warehouse environment. Demonstrated experience using computers, related logistics technology or basic software programs to undertake audits, receipting and data entry activities. High level of communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, with an ability to liaise with all Victoria Police employees and external stakeholders or suppliers in a professional and courteous manner.
