About the Role We are seeking a skilled Service Technician for a 2-month contract in Albury, supporting our modular waste management unit.In this role, you'll help ensure the smooth operation of equipment used to process organic waste and manage insect farming processes, performing both preventive and reactive maintenance tasks.Key Responsibilities: Ensure continuous operation of waste processing and insect farming equipment.Conduct daily service inspections on robotic units and supporting mechanical infrastructure.Perform planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.Operate essential machinery, including tractors, forklifts, conveyors, pumps, macerators, and modular biological units.Use PLC/user interface systems to manage robotic equipment.Troubleshoot and resolve issues, including material blockages or contaminants.Document service incidents and update the team.Assist in developing service documentation and best practices.About You: Basic mechanical and electrical problem-solving skills.Physical ability to perform the role's tasks.Positive, adaptable, and a strong team player with good attention to detail.Experience with pumps, hydraulic systems, and PLCs (preferred).Yellow Card or RIIHAN301B for elevated work platforms and forklift operation skills (preferred).If you would like to have a confidential chat about this position, please contact Eden on ****** or call 0460415269 At Randstad, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all.We actively encourage applications from any background.
