Your Role in the KAMS Vision
As the SEWB Learning & Development Coordinator, you will be at the forefront of shaping the training landscape for the Social and Emotional Wellbeing workforce within the Kimberley region. Your expertise will guide the development and implementation of tailored learning programs, ensuring our health professionals are equipped with the essential skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional care aligned with the WA Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services SEWB model of care.
* Conduct comprehensive needs analyses to identify workforce training requirements.
* Design and implement impactful learning initiatives focused on trauma-informed care and mental health interventions.
* Consult with internal and external stakeholders to foster best practises in SEWB service delivery.
* Manage contracts and project timelines effectively to enhance service delivery and accountability.
Who We're Looking For
We seek an individual who embodies passion and commitment to Aboriginal health and wellbeing. You will be a dynamic leader, capable of inspiring others while navigating the complexities of workforce development in a culturally sensitive manner.
* Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent is essential.
* A deep understanding of cultural security and its importance in health service delivery.
* Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent experience in a similar role.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to deliver outcomes on time and within budget.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to connect with a diverse audience.
* A current C Class Drivers’ Licence and willingness to travel throughout the region.
