About the location: Warrawee Aged Care service with 25 beds is located in St George, on the banks of the Balonne River. The town enjoys country-wide tree-lined streets, offering a good selection of amenities. Highlighting the importance of this role This position will require you as a Clinical Service Manager to lead and drive cultural and clinical practices to ensure high-quality services are delivered to our residents. You'll be supported by a team of clinicians and personal care workers who will benefit from your strong leadership and motivational style. In your varied day you will: Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary team across clinical and care, administration, and hotel services. Manage recruitment and selection to ensure staffing levels meet the requirements of your team. Be approachable and accessible to residents, their representatives, and your team. Manage and report on budgets and KPIs on a monthly basis. Report to internal and external stakeholders. What you can bring to the team As an AHPRA Registered Nurse, you will provide day-to-day operational direction, motivation, and continuous development to your team members within our aged care service at St George. Along with your insight, you will have excellent operational and financial acumen with the ability to ensure KPIs, accreditation standards, and quality indicators are met in line with industry standards. In order to be successful, your skills, knowledge, and experience will include: Proven success with a minimum of 4 years in a senior management position. Demonstrated working knowledge of quality assurance programs. A current AHPRA registration as a Nurse. Experience leading and mentoring a clinical care workforce in the aged care industry is desirable. Knowledge of the accreditation system, as well as funding and regulatory requirements for aged care facilities. A current driver's licence and ability to obtain a national police certificate and national insolvency check.
