Role: Consultant Director of Anaesthetics
* Specialist position has a primary focus on the provision of clinical services.
* Opportunity to be involved in academic and teaching activities in close association with Deakin University academic and teaching staff.
* The position will be predominantly clinically focused, with some management functions associated with the role.
About the hospital: The Hospital is a fully integrated facility with a total of 282 beds (216 acute, 36 aged care and 30 mental health). Warrnambool Campus (212 beds) Hamilton Hospital provides acute, rehabilitation and mental health care, together with extensive outpatient and community services.
Location: Warrnambool.

About the Department / Hospital
* Anaesthetic Department is accredited by the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) as a training site for anaesthetic trainees for up to 24 months of training time.
* The Anaesthetic Department is located in the Interventional Suite complex and consists of the Anaesthetic team, a Departmental Secretary and Acute Pain nurses.

* To provide clinical expertise and excellent service in anaesthesia and perioperative medicine (including in-theatre, acute pain, preadmission clinic, delivery-suite, and other clinical and non-clinical duties as determined by the director of anaesthesiology and perioperative medicine).
Location: Werribee Melbourne.
* Clinical duties will include the provision of peri-operative anaesthetic and resuscitation care of in-patients, including anaesthesia and analgesia services to patients in the birth suite, operating theatres, wards, ICU and the emergency department.
Position 1
* Provide psychiatric services to the Adult Rehabilitation stream and the Mental Health and Wellbeing Program more broadly as directed/required.
* Work in partnership with the Manager/Team Leader to ensure that services provided to the community are the highest standard, emphasising excellence, service, care, staff performance, cost efficiency, research and education.
Required:
* Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists or equivalent post graduate specialist qualification.
This role is responsible for providing safe, effective, patient centred and responsive care to patients in the Emergency Department. In this role you will required experience in the broad practice of Emergency Medicine, including; Adult medicine, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, Trauma and the full range of emergencies encountered in various specialties.
Requirements:
* Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Emergency Physicians and hold a current registration with the Medical Practitioners Board of Australia.
