We are seeking a Technical Delivery Manager to join an exciting new project for one of our premium clients.Candidates can be located in Canberra, Melbourne, Brisbane or Adelaide (Canberra - preferred location).The initial contract is 1 December 2024 to 30 November 2025, with the possibility of extending.This role has a flexible working model, allowing hybrid working, with min 3 days working on site from client's office.The nature of this role requires candidates to be an Australian citizen and hold an Australian security clearance of NV1 level or above. ?? You will be responsible for the following duties: The Technical Delivery Manager will collaborate within product-centric teams to provide comprehensive services and support during production. As Technical Delivery Manager, you will oversee the execution of technical projects and services, manage technical teams, and ensure projects are delivered on time, aligning with business goals.Key duties may include: Identifying key business objectives and providing solution recommendations while performing business proves and management consulting analysis. Managing scope of projects from inception to closure. Defining, developing and managing implementation schedules and project budgets. Coordinating resources, preparing project teams for kick-off and ensuring effective completion of project milestones, controlling project scope and mitigating risks. Ensuring project consultants are delivering to configuration, development, and methodology standards. Ensuring delivery processes are efficient and cost effective. Providing technical direction and leadership. Ensuring technical teams adhere to industry best practices, standards and methodologies.Leading and managing technical teams including developers, engineers and other technical professionals. Identifying and managing risks related to the technical delivery. Providing technical expertise and support teams to solve complex technical challenges. ?? What will make you a good fit for the role? A minimum of 3+ years of experience in the following areas; Experience and knowledge in delivering Cyber Security and assurance projects, including managing project scope, schedule, budget constraints and providing support to clear issues blocking delivery. Significant knowledge and experience implementing Information Security Manual controls to achieve Maturity Level One in a complex ICT Environment, And/or Significant knowledge and experience implementing the Microsoft 365 product suite or similar digital transformation projects in a complex ICT Environment. Experience working with and influencing internal and external stakeholders and partners to minimise the organisation change impact in order to successfully implement Cyber Security mitigations. Proven track record in leading technical teams and managing cross-disciplinary technical programs, from project definition to product delivery/demonstration. Experience in the management of Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems environments. ?? Academic Qualifications and Certifications: Desirable: Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology and vendor certifications will be looked upon favourably. ??
