About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Research Data Scientist to join our team at SA Pathology. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in facilitating and optimising access to pathology data to support our research objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop efficient data management processes to extract and analyse data from multiple information systems.
* Create reports, dashboards, and actionable insights for SA Pathology's Executive and Business Units.
* Provide expert advice on technical aspects of data management to ensure delivery of cleansed, standardised data extracts that prioritise privacy and confidentiality.
Requirements:
* Strong scientific expertise, advanced analytical skills, and high level of computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and business analytical tools.
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
* Demonstrated experience in diagnostic pathology, laboratory data analysis, business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and statistical methods.
