About your opportunity Fixed Term Temporary part-time, 30.4 hours p.f. / commencing 21/10/24 up to 03/01/25 with poss ext not exc 6m The role involves working with consumers in both community and inpatient contexts as part of the Adolescent Inpatient Unit and Day Service Team (AIUDS). The Allied Health Clinician's role within this context is to provide discipline specific assessment and intervention including brief evidence based therapeutic interventions, to aid in the development of comprehensive clinical formulations, contribute to diagnostic clarification, contribute to care planning, and develop key recommendations for ongoing therapeutic work to be continued by community mental health teams following the consumer's discharge. Generous remuneration package value up to $4290.00 p.m. comprising Salary range of $38.70 to $56.89 p.h (HP3) annual leave with 17.5% loading 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation. Role Requirements: Proof of qualification (Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Social Worker, Speech Pathologist, Psychologist.) and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association.. Possession of class C drivers' licence. Highly desirable: Possession of relevant post- registration and/or tertiary qualification in mental health would be well regarded for a position at this level. Eligibility for appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner under Mental Health Act 2000 would be well regarded.
