About the role
As a Warehouse Manager at Fresh To Go Foods, you"ll be an integral part of our team, dedicated to crafting high-quality, ready-made wraps and sandwiches. This is a Full time position that offers a stable and friendly work environment. You will be joining a team that values precision, speed, and quality in food production. Our team is passionate about exceeding the standards of convenience food, ensuring every hand-made meal is created to perfection.
What you"ll do
* Plan and Achieve Goals: Create and follow business plans to reach our targets.
* Lead and Manage: Build a positive work culture and manage the warehouse team.
* Follow Rules: Ensure all company policies and processes are followed.
* Stay Compliant: Make sure we meet all safety, quality, and environmental standards.
* Build Relationships: Work closely with different teams, suppliers, and customers.
* Schedule Staff: Prepare work schedules to ensure we always have enough staff.
* Efficient Deliveries: Ensure deliveries are planned in the best possible way.
* Support Vehicles: Coordinate after-hours support for delivery vehicles.
* Manage Inventory: Oversee product storage and ensure inventory is accurate.
* Maintenance and Cleaning: Ensure warehouse maintenance and cleaning are up to standard.
* Documentation: Ensure all paperwork is completed and filed correctly.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Production Worker role should have:
* Understanding of Supply Chain: Know how our supply chain works and understand the challenges.
* Human Resources Knowledge: Familiar with HR processes and legal requirements, especially safety and employee relations.
* Consumer Protection: Know the laws for perishable food products.
* Continuous Improvement: Experience with improving methods and processes.
* Community Awareness: Understand government, industry, and community programs.
* Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead, influence, and bring about change.
* Communication Skills: Excellent at talking, writing, presenting, and negotiating.
* Thinking Skills: Good at logical and creative thinking, with a knack for innovation.
* Warehouse Systems: Skilled in opating delivery vehicles and warehouse systems.
* Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and other communication tools.
