You will be responsible for supporting in the embedding of our brand promise of Forever Caring with both our people and our external customers. You will be part of the Global Marketing and Sales Centre of Excellence, a centralised team who partner with the business units to drive customer-centric marketing activities which serve our patients, healthcare professionals and caregivers. You'll report into the Senior Director, Embed Forever Caring. About the role:As Assistant Brand Manager you will be responsible, alongside the Senior Director and SBM, for embedding our new brand promise of Forever Caring with our people and customers. Our ambition is to make Forever Caring part of our Convatec DNA where everyone of us lives and breathes our promise. The development work has been done to create the new brand proposition and visual identity and now working with the Senior Director and SBM it is your responsibility to embed this into the organisation.This means partnering with our marketers to equip them with the right know how including toolkits, processes, understanding and also inspiring them on how they can ensure their brands and products communicate forever caring. Also partnering with your Marketing & Sales CoE colleagues to ensure we embed forever caring across all workstreams in the team and everyone is a brand champion, by sharing best practice and communication progress across the business.This is an exciting role as you get to be part of defining our Convatec brand and there is plenty of opportunity for you to take ownership. And as Forever Caring impacts the entire organisation experience of stakeholder management is key along with an ability to deal with difficult and sometimes complex challenges where not everything is in our control and we need to work with different teams to find a solution.Specific tasks to be delivered:Brand guardian and governance lead - ensuring consistency of delivery of brand standards across all marketing platforms supporting markets and BUs in the correct implementation. Responsible for creation and on-going management of forums to aid BUs with implementation. Lead and define the redesign of the governance processLead content creation of on-boarding materials to ensure all new starters are immersed into the world of Forever CaringLead always on social content development and implementation to bring to life our brand promise externallyResponsible for key brand assets to visually bring our brand to life including, Masterbrand asset management - ongoing management of the new Masterbrand asset library, working in partnership with BUs, internal communications team and agency - and our internal assets site to ensure materials are refreshed (e.g presentation templates)On-going monitoring and reporting of brand performance both within the GMS CoE and to the wider marketing community,Track and share best practice including development of case studies and sharing of information through existing channels (e.g. monthly newsletter, team huddle, monthly meetings) both within the GMS CoE and to the wider marketing communityRole model Forever Caring by partnering with all CoE team members and BUs to ensure they are sufficiently skilled in our brand and that workstreams consistently represent the brand in the right wayBudget management including raising of POs and monthly reconciliationsLead GMS COE newsletter development and completion of content from COE subject matter expertsAbout you:At minimum degree educated with 3-5 years+ brand marketing experience, preferably with experience of working in a medium-large matrix organisationPrevious marketing communications experience showing how you have delivered against the customer need, understood the customer journey and delivered distinctive & relevant content to drive business resultsProject management skills, experience of leading cross-functional teamsStrong ability to build relationships and influence others, including with Senior LeadershipExperience of delivering capability content to upskill and educate marketersDemonstrates customer-centricity and business understandingSolid change management understanding, comfortable with working in a transformation space where we may be required to pivot and adapt to changing situationsResult focused previous experience of delivering both sales and equity results to drive overall business ambitionsStrong communicator: superior verbal and written English communication skills with an ability to translate large amounts of information into succinct actionable insightsResilient and influential: thriving on challenge, bringing colleagues along on the journey, with the ability to exert an effective influence at all levels of an organization and to drive change in behaviour through understanding business needs, and crafting solutions accordingly.Curious connector: you can connect the dots across people, projects and partners, creating new opportunitiesStrategic and business focused: taking into account the broader picture and perspective of others, activating the right plan based on holistic understanding of the business challenge and business needsWhat you'll also need to know:This role will be based in the UK.
