About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team in Gladstone.
The Ideal Applicant Will Have A strong background in Electrical Project Management with a proven track record in industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects.HV maintenance experience is highly favourable, with additional expertise in high-voltage switching, maintenance, and testing considered an advantage.Experience managing projects related to power distribution, substations, renewable energy, mining, or heavy industrial electrical systems.Proficiency in scheduling and budgeting ensuring projects stay within scope, time, and cost.Leading, mentoring, and supervising electrical teams and subcontractors is crucial.A strong grasp of electrical safety, compliance, and risk management is required.Experience in procurement, contract administration, and stakeholder communication.Strong problem-solving skills and troubleshooting electrical challenges are highly valued.EssentialsElectrical Trade Certification or relevant qualifications in electrical project management, preferably in high-voltage (HV) and industrial electrical systems.Project Management Certification or equivalent experience in managing electrical projects.Experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, particularly in HV maintenance, urban residential distribution (URD), and industrial projects.High-Risk Work License (if working in hazardous environments or operating heavy machinery).White Card.Valid Driver's License for field mobility and site visits.Police Clearance or background check, ensuring compliance with safety and security requirements.Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulations, including local electrical codes, HV/LV safety requirements, and risk mitigation strategies.Working at Heights Certification, required for urban residential, industrial, and high-voltage project work.DesirablesLow-Voltage Rescue (LVR) and CPR Certification (highly preferred).HV Switching Certification.Experience in project management, leading teams on urban residential, industrial, or infrastructure electrical projects.Specialized Training in switchboard installation, HV switching, or distribution network upgrades.Hazardous Area Certification for work in potentially explosive or dangerous environments (e.g., industrial plants, oil and gas, hydrogen facilities).Proficiency in electrical design interpretation, commissioning, and testing of electrical systems.Experience working with MYOB, Aroflo, or similar project and financial management systems for budgeting, scheduling, and cost control.Previous experience with Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractors in large-scale industrial or energy infrastructure projects.Cert IV in Leadership & Management or similar qualifications for overseeing project teams and ensuring operational efficiency.Exposure to renewable energy projects (e.g., solar farms, wind farms, hydrogen facilities) would be advantageous.The BenefitsCompetitive salary!Safe and secure working environment.Career development and training opportunities.Work with a leading and reputable Queensland electrical business.How To ApplyClick APPLY or contact Susie Longmire, Talent Acquisition Partner on 0439 342 802 or ******
