Job tasks and responsibilities
We are seeking full-time parcel sorter/high reach forklift operators to work on the PM shift of our transport department at our Acacia Ridge, QLD. Your roles will include:
* Operating a forklift to move, unload, load, or put away freight.
* Unloading inbound and outbound shipments safely.
* Ensure shipments are accurate, free of damage, and labelled clearly.
* Efficiently and securely stack and store products in appropriate areas on racking.
* Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars or trailers.
* Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
* Picking orders using the RF Scanner efficiently.
* Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
Skills and experience
Candidates must be experienced in the operation of forklifts, with truck loading experience. Candidates must have a relevant forklift license.
