The Team:
The North West Cancer Service, Burnie, provides comprehensive specialist outpatient Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology and Clinical Haematology Service to the North West Tasmanian community. We are dedicated to providing compassionate and high-quality healthcare to our community.
The Role:
The Registered Nurse:
* Strengthens health outcomes through the provision of safe quality, clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with patients/clients, their families and other health professionals.

* Commitment to continuous learning.

Details of appointment:
* Permanent, part time, day worker position, working up to 48 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
* Multiple Fixed Term, part time, day worker position, working up to 72 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 6 December 2025
* Fixed term, casual, position working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for approximately 12 months.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $78,179 to $105,955 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
* Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
Access to the Grade 4 salary range $99,455- $105,995 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
* Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10 % based on qualification type
Salary Packaging:
