We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual who would be interested in joining our team to become a Medical Receptionist. The Trainee Medical Receptionist will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of Tullawon Health Service Inc.’s Clinic by providing essential administrative and clerical support. This entry-level position is designed to introduce you to the dynamic environment of healthcare and administration in a remote community and to develop the foundational skills necessary for a successful career in a healthcare or administrative industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Greet and assist patients and families with compassion.
2. Manage appointment bookings, patient records, and follow-ups.
3. Provide general administrative support, including answering phones, handling mail, and maintaining reception areas.
4. Adhere to infection control practices, workplace safety, and confidentiality standards.
5. Participate actively in a structured training program, including workshops and on-the-job learning.
What we are looking for:
1. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
2. Ability to work positively under pressure and in a remote area team environment.
3. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
4. Commitment to learning and professional growth.
5. Must be 18+ years of age.
6. Must live in Yalata Community.
7. Must hold or be able to obtain a South Australian Working with Children's Clearance.
8. Can commit to at least 25 hours of work per week.
Role Type Pay Rate:
28.66 AUD - 30.44 AUD (Hour)
