As a Director of Sales within ANZ's Customer Solutions Transaction Banking team, you will be leading a state team of Business Development Managers for Victoria, delivering valued propositions and solutions to drive superior customer experience and outcomes.The Payments and Cash Management (PCM) business is an integral component of Transaction Banking (TB) suite of capability and overall ANZ client relationship.
You will be vital to the success and growth of the TB business and will be a valuable contributor to drive the bottom line, future innovation, cross business unit synergies and efficiency improvements.Banking is changing and we're changing with it, giving our people great opportunities to try new things, learn and grow.

Your key accountabilities will include:High level of leadership ability with proven experience of leading and influencing teamsSales, distribution and business development for ANZ's PCM suite of productsContributing to strategic initiatives in conjunction with a range of internal stakeholders to advance PCM value propositionManaging change, ambiguity and complexityAwareness of the criticality in technology and operations in delivering customer value and outcomesDemonstration of achieving results through others and a track record of effective coaching and people developmentPreferably deep experience in Payments & Cash and/or Merchants, CardsWhat will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:Strong background in Business Development and solutioning ideally with Institutional CustomersA deep understanding of PCM products and solutions in market, ability to execute effectively across the Transaction Banking sales processStrong analytical skills to deepen understanding of customers' business models and develop customer specific value propositionsUnderstanding of clients' working capital flows and ability to identify opportunities.Legal & Compliance: Awareness of state-specific regulations, contract law, and compliance requirements related to sales operations.Digital Sales Tools and Automation: Knowledge of leveraging AI-driven sales tools or sales automation to drive efficiency.Project Management: Ability to manage large, complex sales projects or initiatives.You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
