About the role
Are you ready for a hands-on role that keeps you on your toes? We're looking for skilled, hard-working Electrical & Instrumentation qualified individuals to join our team as a Pipeline Operator Technician. This is your chance to make a real impact while working with cutting-edge equipment and technology. You will also enjoy a balanced work-life schedule with our roster, based out of Gladstone.
Key Responsibilities include
Responding to incidents and emergencies
Operation and maintenance of high-pressure natural gas equipment
Maintenance of valves and other mechanical equipment
Patrol and maintenance of the pipeline right of way
Liaison work with landholders and public authorities
A wide variety of pipeline duties including mechanical work, documentation and records maintenance
Inter / intra state travel required at times
About You
The successful candidate will have an Electrical & Instrumentation trade qualification with proven experience working as a member of an Operations and Maintenance team in the gas transmission or gas processing industry.
You will bring the following qualifications, skills and experience with you:
Drivers licence (MR Class desirable)
Demonstrated electrical and instrumentation experience
High pressure gas experience
Centrifugal Compressor operation and maintenance
Personal computing skills utilising Microsoft Office systems
