About the role
As a HR Service Advisor, you’ll have the opportunity to positively impact Sydney Water’s people experience with your ability to deliver quality service and solutions on a range of people-related enquiries.
HR Advisory Services is a high performing team within Business Connect, Sydney Water’s Business Services Centre providing accurate and efficient first contact resolutions on multifunctional enquiries including people-related enquiries, management reports, facilities & workplace services, purchasing, procurement, and accounting enquiries for external suppliers & internal customers.
You must be willing to work on shifts (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM).
Responsibilities:
o Provide prompt response to enquiries across all aspects of HR to line managers and employees including the full suite of HR policies, procedures, payroll, recruitment, employee relations, injury management and rehabilitation, learning and development and systems.
o Provide quality customer service to managers and staff that consistently meets service standards and targets.
o Provide the first point of contact and manage enquiries through to completion.
o Escalate enquiries as required and ensure that the client is kept informed and monitor progress until the enquiry is closed.
o Assist and support line managers in day-to-day HR activities including navigation around ESS, receipt and processing of HR forms position management and related documentation.
o Accurately enter information onto the database in a timely manner.
o Follow appropriate processes and procedures with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
o Adapt to diverse communication channels such as telephone, online chat, face time and/or email in responding to enquiries.
o Ensure risks and issues are identified and reported on a continual basis to the functional lead, ensuring customer focused delivery.
Who are we looking for?
o 3 years’ experience working in a shared services environment.
o Problem solving and enquiry skills to understand the nature of an enquiry and respond in an efficient way.
o Ability to analyse and troubleshoot problems and address customer issues in a systemic way.
o Clear understanding of how escalation paths work while retaining accountability for the resolution of enquiries.
o Ability to use a range of corporate systems including HR, information systems including accessing, inputting, and compiling data.
o You must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident at the time of submitting your application to be considered for this role.
