About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer who has worked in a similar Engineering Consultancy role.
You will report to the Civil Group Leader and be guided and mentored for your own career development.
You will have the opportunity to work towards being the Civil Team Leader in the Sydney office.
There is a hands-on element to the position but we could accommodate a Senior Civil Engineer, interested in project management, team management and overseeing projects as opposed to being a hands-on technical design engineer.
You will work on a range of projects.
* Roads
* Stormwater management
* Flood analysis & reporting
* Residential / Land development
* Earthworks modeling
* Civil inspections
* Retaining & pavements
Essential Skills:
* Ideal experience: minimum of 4-5 years of experience working within Civil Design Engineering
* Experience gained designing and managing projects with minimal supervision
* Undertaking regular coordination and interface with key clients and stakeholders
* Must have experience with MUSIC and DRAINS, experience gained working with Civil 3D will be highly beneficial
* Tertiary Qualification in Civil Engineering or similar
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially report writing
* Excellent knowledge of Australian Standards & Council design standards
