Your new role
In your new role you will be responsible for:
* Performing, coordinating and overseeing reactive plumbing tasks across multiple precincts
* Continuously performing scheduled and preventative maintenance tasks
* Carry out plumbing inspections of minor and major works
* Build and maintain effective relationships with contractors
* Lead and engage the team in performing to their best ability
* Ensure strong customer service and clear communication with key clients and stakeholders
* Regular team feedback and encouragement for new ideas and innovation
* Ensure proper training and development of each team member
* Motivate and inspire team members in line with the company's expectations and values.
* Facilitate problem-solving and collaboration across the team
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position, you will need to have the following.
* Licenced qualified plumber (gas fitter and drainage)
* Certificate to test and repair, backflow and TMW (highly desirable)
* Commercial installation and maintenance experience (highly desirable)
* Previous experience as a leading hand or foreman (highly desirable)
* White Card and Asbestos Awareness
* Silica Awareness Ticket (desirable)
* The ability to align and adhere with all company values, policies and procedures
