FourQuarters have been exclusively engaged for a leading privately owned, specialist investment manager offering a range of structured financial solutions for the Australian commercial real estate market. The fund is defined by the expertise of its people, combining the multi-generational property experience with the investment and funds management experience of leading professionals from across the finance and commercial real estate sectors. The fund is active in all aspects of the Australian real estate market, working across residential, industrial, and commercial sectors, and in most major cities, and is able to provide access to direct investments and partner with a select group of investors and borrower clients.
THE ROLE
The Investment Analyst will have an active role in the business, supporting the team in performing the initial review, structuring and execution and ongoing management of investments. As a member of the Investment team, you will be focused on delivering exceptional client outcomes, possessing strong analytical and communication skills. Primary responsibilities include transaction structuring and analysis, fund analytics, procurement and review of due diligence material, preparation of investment papers and reporting on the status of ongoing investments.
The Investment Analyst will also assist in relationship management of existing and target customers. As the fund is growing, the Investment Analyst has the unique opportunity to learn/develop and be involved in many different business functions and throughout all stages of the deal process including direct access to and relationships with clients (borrowers and investors), team members and shareholders.
ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will possess the following:
* A sound and working understanding of property fundamentals
* An ability to identify, assess and manage the inherent risks in property investment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Be hard working, results orientated and able to demonstrate resourcefulness and innovation
* Be curious, agile and adaptive
* Maintain high standards and act ethically with all internal and external relationships
* Turn up with a positive attitude, be present and willing to learn and develop, be motivated and excited to work on various tasks wherever needed in a growing business
* At least 2+ years of relevant real estate experience in finance, investments, valuations
* A relevant tertiary degree in related areas such as property, finance or law.
