(Congress) are currently seeking experienced GP Locum coverage for their new Yulara Clinic.
Congress has expanded to become the largest Aboriginal community-controlled health organisation in the Northern Territory, providing a comprehensive, holistic and culturally-appropriate primary health care service to Aboriginal people living in and nearby Alice Springs, including six remote communities.
The Clinic
Congress works in consultation with the Yulara community to deliver primary health care to the residents of Yulara.
Onsite are doctors, nurses and Aboriginal health practitioners and visiting allied health staff that include dietitian, optometrist, podiatrist, diabetes nurse and psychologist services.

Benefits
10. $2000 per day
11. No on call or weekend work
12. One off travel bonus of $400 for travel outside placement dates
13. $400 payment for public holiday days not worked
14. $1000 placement bonus for working 20 days

22. Monday, Tuesday and Friday – 8:30am to 5:00pm
23. Wednesday – 9:30am to 5:00pm
24. Thursday – 8:30am to 12:00pm

25. This clinic uses Communicare, with orientation provided
Eligibility to Apply
26. Must have current non-restricted registration by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and general practice specialisation
27. Cultural safety skills, knowledge of Aboriginal health and chronic disease management
