If you want a career where you can thrive, be challenged and do meaningful work, you’re in the right place.Why Your Role MattersWe're looking for a Finance Analyst to join the FBP team, which supports the financial activities for UNSW Science and provides end-to-end finance services as a central, trusted source for financial guidance across our Faculties and Divisions.As Finance Analyst, you’ll be delivering financial management activities, including financial planning, analysis, forecasting and reporting across multiple funding sources. We’re looking for a confident performer to work across complex data sets for analysis, modelling, and reporting purposes to support sound financial decisions.Who You Are Relevant tertiary qualification and completion of a CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent knowledge) and relevant professional sector experience. Demonstrated experience in core financial management and financial control processes, financial analysis. Sound working knowledge of analytical tools. A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and its application in financial modelling and analysis as well as computer applications, enterprise systems, and the delivery of reports and presentations. Exceptional analytical skill with adaptability to competing priorities and experience managing complex data sets. Highly developed time management and organisational skills with the ability to work to deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail.
